ready consists of two dance styles, each shown in practice and in performance, and the preparation of chickens for eating, filmed in three towns in Botswana in 2002. The waltz section of the "Latin-American and Ballroom Dance Contest" was in the City Hall of Francistown. Students of ballroom dance and students of traditional dance were in two schools in Kanye. The popular Mogwana Dancers performed in Gaborone. The old ladies shown plucking and cooking the chicken were quite some dancers in their day. Ready to dance! Ready to eat!
