THE QUEEN'S COURTYARD TEAM MEMBERS' BIOGRAPHIES [zurück] | [go back] Carolyn Macartney (DOP) Carolyn Macartney made her first film with a Double 8mm camera that she found in her Grannie's attic, to accompany an electronic music soundtrack she had composed. Her roots in experimental filmmaking can be felt in her current narrative and documentary work as she keeps an open-minded approach to the medium, both conceptually and aesthetically. Her films have won awards at Ann Arbor Film Festival, Onion City Film Festival and Houston Worldfest, and have appeared in numerous festivals and screenings world-wide. An accomplished photographer, her still photography has won awards and has been published and exhibited in the US and Europe.
